BIO

I was born in Caracas-Venezuela on March 22 nd 1981 . I still remember the first colors, brushes and pencils that I got when I was 4 years old. Even though I am the first “declared” artist in the family, tradition and manual skills have been present in my ancestors for decades. Both my grandmothers have dedicated their lives to the textile business, designing sewing among other tasks. My grandfather is and excellent wood carver and he used to carve the church altars in his home town in Spain . I also had a great grandfather that was a blacksmith. My parents are Civil Engineers with a great sense of interior design and drawing skills.

My passion for manual work (painting, silversmith, sculpture…) is not new. I have always had the necessity of expressing myself through my hands, it is a potential energy that must be released and transformed in other expression. It is an internal need.

At the age of 8, my parents hired an excellent Spanish-Venezuelan painter called Antonio Seijo for private classes. He taught me not only the basics of painting techniques but also and the most important the passion for it.

I painted until I was 14 years old. Perhaps because I was a revel or because of the hormones I did not want anything to do with art for almost 10 years.

I studied 3 and a half years of chemical engineering in Caracas and then I moved to Salamanca , Spain . Finally I transferred and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at FIU in Miami …Ironically no?...

I finally returned to the beginning, to my passion, my personal Renaissance; because no matter how hard you try to go against destiny casualties will always show you your real path. I took classes of silversmith with renowned Venezuelan artist Alexis De La Sierra ( www.alexisdelasierra.com ) in Miami Design District. He had the ability of inspiring me again into the arts. I've taken some minor courses at the Boca Raton Museum of Art to refresh some knowledge but what you truly learned from childhood, from the people that really inspired you will never be forgotten.

Once the artist notifies us the artwork is ready for shipment, the delivery will be in the following 24-72 hours, These delivery times may be altered by custom clearance events, especially when the origin country of the artwork belongs to a different cross-national agreement (EU,NAFTA,etc.). here. Shipments from Argentina, Colombia or Cuba need of a special authorization for the exportation of artworks, so it is important to have this into account when calculating the delivery date.

Bear in mind we are dealing with works of art, so they may be in an exhibition (actually, this is awesome!). Those artworks which are in an exhibition are usually displayed as “non-available”. In case the artwork has been put up for sale, take into account the artist would have to manage with the organization of the exhibition the return of the artwork in order to be able to realize the shipment.
